Comma Catalyst
Comma was created for purpose, not just products.
Women's health--particularly menstruation--has been ignored, stigmatized, and excluded from healthcare for far too long. To drive change from all angles for all people, we are a social enterprise: a for profit company with a sister non-profit.
In chemistry, a catalyst is a substance that starts or speeds up a chemical reaction. Catalysts are more than just an ingredient: they're a multiplier. They transform processes to make better results, faster.
Comma Catalyst is our non-profit organization.
For every dollar of profit we make, a portion goes directly to Comma Catalyst to fund our charitable work. We can make donations to organizations making a difference in women's health, as well as to fund research and innovation in a challenging time for women's health scientists. We can also use Catalyst to give access to our products and services for people who need them most, regardless of whether or not they can afford them.
We want to live in a world where businesses use their power for good.
Beyond just marketing "corporate social responsibility," Comma believes disrupting the conventional narrative of period care means holding ourselves accountable for being sustainable, accessible, and equitable. This is in the products we make, but it's also in how our organization is structured. We can lead the charge of innovation for a better world.
