Sara is a progressive web app (PWA), meaning you access her through your internet browser rather than downloading her directly onto your phone from an app store. Like everything we do at Comma, we made this decision with your privacy and security top of mind.

When it comes to privacy and data selling, app stores have their own rules, and they aren't up to our standards. This is why we built Sara as a PWA, allowing us to have more control and strict protocols when it comes to the privacy and security of your data. The TLDR is that with our PWA Sara, you’re the only one who will ever have access to your data (unless you choose to share with your doctor).
