Comma Cares: Organizations Creating Change

At Comma, we want to build what you want to see, and we want to improve what you want to change. A period shouldn’t be a hard stop; we are working to disrupt the narrative in menstrual health, and we’d love for you to join us if this is something you’re passionate about too. After all, volunteering starts with just one small step. Our team is hosting an upcoming Comma Cares Day, a chance for everyone to step out and get involved in causes that matter to them. We’ve pulled together a variety of important and worthy organizations that we care about and need your help in making a difference, too.

Indigenous Women Rising

Indigenous Women Rising is committed to honoring Native & Indigenous People’s inherent right to equitable and culturally safe health options through accessible health education, resources, and advocacy.

Make a Difference in Your Community

The Comma mission is all about changing menstrual healthcare for the better. As a grassroots group of clinical scientists, technologists, environmentalists, lawyers, medical device experts, and community builders, we are passionate about advancing and protecting reproductive health because it’s no secret that the period care industry has been designed without women in mind or at the helm. We’ve spent too long ashamed of our cycles, and healthcare has spent too long ignoring them. Let’s be the change we want to see.

If you’re looking for your own volunteering opportunities, reach out, ask questions, and dive in. Once you do, our team at Comma would love to see! Tag us on socials and use #CommaCares to share how you’re giving back! It all starts with you, and we can’t wait to see all the good you do.
